Alwinton Show 2015

The second & thrid gifts from the people of the valley and the villages to the Pipe Band, was presented at Alwinton Show by Jean & Angus Foreman who presented a cheque to the value of £2,058.12p and Hazel & Tom Mason who presented the Baldrick to Drum Major David Brown.

A special presentation of a Quaich was also made at the evening Ceilidh at Rothbury from Rothbury Pipe Band to the Neilston Pipe Band in celebration of 40 years of friendship between the two bands, and a gift from Neilston Pipe Band of a piping tune specially composed for the Rothbury Pipe Band, also in commemoration of the 40 year association.
